Sabias palabras, Wise Words

Ayer estuve leyendo un cuento que me pareció muy interesante. Se llama Las hadas y lo escribió Charles Perrault. Al final del cuento aparecen dos moralejas que me gustaría compartir. El cuento y sus moralejas hablan sobre la honradez, sobre como al final siempre tiene su recompensa. También habla sobre el poder de las buenas palabras y acciones.

Las riquezas, las joyas, los diamantes son del ánimo influjos favorables, Sin embargo los discursos agradables son más fuertes aun, más gravitantes. 

La honradez cuesta cuidados,  exige esfuerzo y mucho afán  que en el momento menos pensado  su recompensa recibirán.

Yesterday, I read a very interesting tale. Its name is The Fairies and it was written by Charles Perrault. There are two morals at the end of the tale that I would like to share. The tale and its morals deal with honesty. They show that it always has a reward. Also, they talk about the power of kind words and actions.

Diamonds and gold coins may work some wonders in their way;    But a gentle word is worth more than all the gems on earth. 

Though -- when otherwise inclined --It's a trouble to be kind, often it will bring you good when you least believed it could.
